The Australian Government planned to spend $1.67 billion to improve the nation’s cyber defences within 10 years. It wanted to encourage government organisations, businesses and the community to share responsibility for understanding and combating cyber threats in an interconnected world.

The Department of Home Affairs commissioned Editor Group to review this important report, ensuring it clearly and succinctly explained the government’s tactics to boost cyber security.
We applied plain language principles in editing and proofreading the document, for easy reading and accessibility to a wide audience. We took special care not to change the meaning of the carefully crafted explanations for how the government plans to deal with one of the nation’s biggest challenges in coming years.
