Project summary
The MBHF partners with researchers, health services and organisations across the health sector to support research projects that will improve the health and wellbeing of all Australians. It prioritises research in areas that help improve health outcomes, affordability, patient experience, health equity and the wellbeing of healthcare workers.
Since 2022, the MBHF has commissioned Editor Group to help write and edit its annual Health Research at Medibank report, which highlights some of the key research projects it supports.
Solution delivered
For the latest report, we worked closely with the MBHF to deliver a complete 25-page draft. This entailed researching nine key initiatives aligned with the MBHF’s research pillars, interviewing the research leads and writing a project profile or case study for each initiative.
Projects included evaluating a new model of delivering primary healthcare, crowdsourcing to understand young adults’ experiences of loneliness during life transitions and appraising the impact of on-the-job training for First Nations healthcare trainees in the Northern Territory.
Editor Group’s role also involved collaborating with the MBHF’s team to fine-tune the messaging in the report’s introduction and edit and proofread other sections of the report to align style and tone.
