One of Editor Group’s interesting projects has been proofreading train timetables for Sydney’s extensive rail network and close regional areas over a number of years. Given the millions of daily commuters and the critical nature of rail services, ensuring precise and up-to-date timetables is essential for the city’s transport system to run smoothly.
Solution delivered
This year’s project required a meticulous, detail-oriented approach. Our team of proofreaders reviewed every aspect of updated timetables before they were released, from individual train departure times to stop locations and service connections.
We cross-checked schedules and verified that maps were accurate to ensure commuters had the correct information to plan their journeys and go about their day.
We also collaborated closely with the timetable team at Transport for NSW, integrating their updates and feedback into our editorial process to deliver a high-quality result in a timely way.
